Project Home

This project is being created by the students in Peace Studies, a course offered as a Crime and Justice Studies elective. Peace Studies is an interdisciplinary field that considers questions such as: how can human conflicts be resolved in ways that promote justice and peace? In class we are exploring definitions, conditions, and causes of violence, nonviolence, war, and peace – be it between nations, groups, or individuals. As our first project, we learned about people who are considered among the Peacemakers–both historical and contemporary.
